“I want you to understand that if your mind truly believes “i can’t”, I have found over the many years of teaching that you will sabotage your own efforts and as your teacher, there is nothing i can do if you really truly deep in your soul believe you can’t. You simply won’t be doing what i’m going to require of you to realize the next level of black belt mastery. But when you use the true master’s mind set and you believe “I can”, you follow paths of the black belt master behavior and through them really ensure that your dream will come true. To the master, the psychology of real fulfillment includes the mindsets of hope, motivation, commitment, confidence, courage, concentration, excitement, and observation.

To become a black belt master with me in this system, you need to work at all times, and i truly mean all times, to renounce your past restrictive beliefs about what you can and can’t do in martial arts and life. Your power as a Richard lee black belt master starts with the awareness that you have unlimited potential once you align yourself with the master’s mind set of “i can”. Remember always as one of my black belts that acting “as if” you can achieve something is self-direction but also remember that it is never self-deception. It places you on the road of black belt master excellence. As you forge ahead with me, you will find that you learn from your setbacks and mistakes as well as your successes.”

Warm Up:

400 M Run (or 40 mountain climbers)

20 seconds on 10 seconds off of the following (4 times each):

V Up Hold

Double Unders

Hand Stand Hold against wall (or Push up hold at bottom)

400 M Run (or 40 mountain climbers)

Workout:

4 Rounds for time

20 Push Ups with Hand Release

25 Horse Stance Squat Jumps

30 Sit Ups with Cross Punches

35 Pad Jumps

40 Wheel Kick Balance (advanced heel/wheel/thrust – 20 each leg)

Warm Down:

5 minutes ball torture for shoulders/back
