Our classes offer a fantastic cardiovascular work out, where you will be expertly guided by our world class staff through a wide range of movements that will strengthen the body, tone muscle, aid weight loss, improve stamina, and increase flexibility, coordination, and balance.
Our adult classes have a mature, fun atmosphere that go beyond basic calisthenics. In each class, you will get a great work out, but you’ll also be learning, too! Every movement taught has a purpose and an application, and you will be taught to use your body in the most efficient, effective way, allowing you to acquire the skills you would need to defend yourself or a loved one.
We live in an increasingly distracting and stressful world, and the mental training that Bok Fu Do gives it’s students offers a chance to focus on developing the mind in a way that relieves stress, focuses the mind, and creates a sense of serenity and calm.
With every movement, there is an mindful, intentional approach to your movement that trains the mind to focus in a unique and dynamic way. Developing the mental discipline and focus that it takes to execute a movement with poise and refinement has benefits that go way beyond your training on the mat, and into works, school, and relationships. By positioning yourself physically, you learn will learn to position yourself mentally.
