Mmmm… Chocolate Chip Scones!

I hear there were some requests for the recipe of the chocolate chip scones that Ms. Mannion brought in sunday. it’s from elana’s pantry almond flour cookbook. Here you go…

Chocolate chip scones

2 1/2 cups blanched almond flour

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/3 cup grapeseed oil

1/4 cup agave nectar

2 large eggs

1 cup coarsely chopped dark chocolate

Preheat oven to 350f. line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.

Combine almond flour, salt, baking soda.

Whisk together eggs, grapeseed oil, and agave nectar.

Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until thoroughly combined, then fold in chocolate.

Drop batter (in scant 1/4 cups) 2 inches apart on baking sheets.

Bake 12-17 min, until golden brown and toothpick inserted into top comes out clean.

Cool on baking sheets 30min, then serve.
