HOME OF BOK FU DO - SYSTEM OF THE WHITE TIGER - EST. 1967
East West won the Wang, Cheuh-Jen Grand Championship Trophy for a 12th year in a row! Not only did we take the overall championship, but we won 1st place in forms/weapons as well as the Lei Tai division! on behalf of Grand-master Lee and Master Buckley also, we want to congratulate every competitor from east west on their outstanding efforts. We are the best school in the country again this year because of each one of you! each year we receive numerous comments from grand-masters, masters, referees and other competitors on not only our team’s skill level, but more importantly our spirit and sportsmanship. thank you all for representing your system and teachers to the best of your ability. You made us all very proud! Next stop…..Malaysia!

Our Lei Tai team did an incredible job this weekend! We are all so proud of their efforts and the indomitable spirit they displayed on and off the Lei Tai at the nationals. Many of them earned a spot on the USA team headed to Malaysia in October, and they all earned a lifetime of memories and an unparalleled amount of growth born from the hard work and perseverance they displayed throughout their training process. They made their teachers and coaches very proud! Please look for more information coming out soon on how you can help them get to Malaysia!

BOK FU FITNESS
Warm Up:
2 minutes of jogging in place, after every 20 seconds do a 10 second sprint
50 jump rope jumps (5 push ups for every time you stop)
50 alternating leg jump rope jumps
10 Around the world (with staff)
10 Pass through (with staff) (bring staff in front of body and then behind keeping arms as close together as possible)
10 Horse Stance Squat Jumps

10 Bok Fu Burpees
20 Heel/Wheel/Thrust each leg
30 Push Ups with hand release
40 Chicken Lunges
50 Horse Stance Squats
100 Double Unders
Warm Down:
5 minutes partner stretching
