October is National Bullying Prevention Month!

OCTOBER IS NATIONAL BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH!

October is National Bullying Prevention Month! We are so excited to take part in spreading awareness on this very important issue. At East West, we have some great things planned and look forward to educating our students and the community throughout the month!

Along with all of our blog posts and Facebook tips and updates, we have two very important dates to remember this month for Bullying Prevention!

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22ND – NATIONAL UNITY DAY

This year for National Bullying Prevention Month, UNITY DAY will take place on Wednesday, October 22nd. We’ll be wearing orange in support of Unity Day to raise awareness against bullying! We hope you’ll join us!

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24TH – FREE BULLYING PREVENTION SEMINAR AT EAST WEST SCHOOLS

Bullying is a very prevalent, concerning and important issue in our community. On Friday, October 24th, East West will be hosting a FREE seminar open to the entire community on Bully Prevention. The seminar will take place at the Alamo and Lafayette locations from 5:00-6:30pm. We’ll be covering some very important bullying topics and prevention techniques. Make sure to register online and bring friends and family to the event! All children ages 8-14 are welcome to attend. We also encourage parents to stay and watch the seminar as well to learn important tips and tools.

You must register for the seminar, even though there is no charge.
