In Her Own Words!

It has certainly been an exciting ten weeks! I hope everyone feels the same sense of accomplishment that I do. It has been a lot of fun watching our group grow in strength and endurance, while shrinking in other areas. I witnessed amazing partner-teamwork, friendly rivalries, shattered barriers, feats of baking, boxes LEAPT in a single bound, and the fastest inchworms in the west; but most of all, I felt a collective spirit that both supports you and pushes you to do your very best. Whether you are training for the Lei Tai, going for a belt, or participating in BFF, a bond is formed whenever a group of people challenges themselves to go beyond what they thought they were capable of, both physically and mentally. I am sure there will be a lot of “remember when…” stories about the last ten weeks. For me personally, I am sure i could have gotten a lot of just going to the Sunday workouts or just doing a DIY now and then or just making some changes to my diet. I was amazed at the results of combining it all. It just goes to show you, listen to your teacher (or in this case your BFF master), do what they say, and you will get there. I feel stronger and healthier than i ever have, and now I am addicted! these ten weeks have really led to a lifestyle change for me in many ways. I hope some of you feel the same way.
