Today is Mr. Hodge’s birthday! He turns 30 years old today and has spent more than half his life at East West Kung Fu! Mr. Hodge began training with us in 1999 at the age of 15. He remained consistent and dedicated and earned his black belt in 2006. After years of training, Mr. Hodge earned a spot on the USA National team in 2012 and competed at the World Championships in Malaysia. He came home from that tournament as a world champion and is now training to defend his title in Argentina next year! Mr. Hodge earned his 2nd degree black belt in February of this year and also a disciple of Grandmaster Lee. Mr. Hodge is currently the head of our Kid Special Squad program and is helping to guide our advanced youth students towards their black belts.
Have a wonderful birthday Mr. Hodge! We hope these next 30 years of your life bring your just as success and fulfillment as the first 30!
