It’s goal setting time! Our Top Gun Trainees took the time in class last night to evaluate their goals from 2012 and set some new ones for 2013. Have you written yours out yet?

“This may sound too simple, too obvious, but take a good look at how you spend your days, your weeks. Are you doing things that are actually keeping you from being a world class black belt? Of course you are.
•Watching television does not help you get into WORLD CLASS shape.
•Wasting time thinking about nonproductive things isn’t going to help you become a WORLD CLASS black belt.
•Wasting emotional energy and letting yourself be bothered by little things that will mean little tomorrow, next week, next month, or next year, won’t help you become a WORLD CLASS black belt.
•Eating foods that are not good for your body that you are going to ask to be a WORLD CLASS black belt won’t work.
Personally, I think that the best definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again even though they don’t work. Stop doing what doesn’t work or you will never become a WORLD CLASS BLACK BELT! In life, I think you have two choices: inspiration or desperation. To be a truly great WORLD CLASS BLACK BELT, you must choose inspiration. You know that if you have been around me.
What will be written on your headstone? “He watched a lot of Monday night football,” or, “He sure liked beer and popcorn.” When you get to the end of your life, are you going to be satisfied (let alone happy) with how you spent your life? Remember, this is your life happening right now. Make it a black belt life. This moment, right now, is not a dress rehearsal. It is your life and just maybe it will be the only one you will experience.”

10 overhead horse stance squats
5 bok fu burpees

5 minutes – work your weakness

30 seconds Push Ups with Hand Release
30 seconds Broken Bow Jumps
30 second rest

5 minutes belt stretching
