Mr. Ryan Hodge, USA Team Member!

Mr. Ryan Hodge, USA Team Member!

Mr. Hodge in his first lei tai fight of the tournament. He gutted it out in that fight and won in the 3rd round! Mr. Hodge went on to win the Nationals and earn a spot on the USA Team! Congratulations Mr. Hodge. All of your hard work paid off! Now, off to Malaysia!

Another great Olympic commercial!

I love this commercial! It’s very easy to relate to if you’ve ever sacrificed for something great in your life. Lei tai team, I know you are starting to relate to this. Black belts, don’t you remember those feelings going for your black belt? For anything great in life, there is always a sacrifice. But I guarantee that none of the athletes at the Olympics would say, “Wow, I sure wish I had eaten more dessert or watched more tv” when they are standing atop the podium with their medal!

Mr. Hodge was amazing. I have to say I’ve never seen someone maintain such a cool demeanor during a lei tai fight. He never seemed to get flustered, just kept going. So happy for him!
