Thank you to Mrs. Moore for sending this video. It’s a perfect way to start our 12 days of Bok Fu Spirit! There are some great ideas in this video. Small acts of kindness go a long way and will hopefully be paid forward! Have fun with your first act of kindness today. And don’t forget to check back in late tonight or first thing tomorrow morning to post your act too!

My husband and I went out for dinner and we paid for the dessert of the couple sitting next to us. We made two new friends tonight (hello to Elijah and Susan if you are reading this!) 🙂

Today I went shopping in Walnut Creek. It was a zoo! What is usually a 10-15 minute trip from my house to parking up took over half an hour today. After driving around several parking lots I finally spotted someone pulling out of their parking space. While I sat waiting for the space to clear, a woman drove up from the other direction. The windows were rolled down and I could see she had 2 young kids in the back, she looked stressed and unhappy. I let her take that spot 🙂 Not 2 minutes later I found another parking space – the timing was perfect.

I went in to work early today to cover part of one of my employees so she could start her Christmas vacation early and spend time with her family.

I was in charge of capturing the precious moments at the East West Children Holiday last Saturday. Looked through the camera, I could see the joy and happiness and all the children’s and their families’ eyes lit up. They seemed overwhelmed with the festivity, the food, the toys, and other special things East West provided to them. Today, I spent more than 6 hours to put together a slideshow capture the entire event, will send it to them so that they can relive the great moments every time they view it.

I saw a small sample of your photos and can’t wait to see the slideshow. The residents at the shelters will be thrilled to see all your hard work too!!! Thanks

I was unloading a grocery cart full of groceries at Safeway to check out. A customer got in line behind me with one item. I felt bad that he had to wait to pay for one item. The clerk had already starting scanning my groceries. I asked him if he could hold my order and ring up the person behind me. He did. As he was checking out, another person got in line behind me with one item. I told him he could go ahead, too. Turns out he was a young man from my neighborhood that I had not seen in at least 3 years!

My friend, Sofia, was trying to get a snack from a high shelf. It was a little out of her reach. I helped her get it down.

An elderly woman came into my office looking for some information, started to tell me her story…

    She lost her husband.

I listened to her, and gave her a hug. she almost cried and just about made me also.
I told her to stop in and rest in my reception area anytime she is out for her walk.

A friend of mine who likes to write was having some difficulty writing a short story. I offered to look it over for her and give her some suggestions.

I held the front door open at the Alamo school for atleast five different people and I wasn’t even going in nor out. (I’m hoping that makes sense)
